| A U.S. Air Force F-15 Eagle aircraft from the 142nd Fighter Wing, Portland Air National Guard, Ore., flies toward the boom of an Ohio Air National Guard KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft over the Nevada Test and Training Range, north of Las Vegas, during Red Flag 10-1 on Oct. 29, 2009. Red Flag is a realistic combat training exercise involving the air forces of the United States and its allies. The exercise is conducted on the 15,000-square-mile Nevada Test and Training Range.
