| Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld cautions a room full of reporters that the conflict in Iraq is far from over during a Pentagon press conference on April 9, 2003. Rumsfeld and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Richard B. Myers, U.S. Air Force, briefed reporters on the progress of Operation Iraqi Freedom, which is the multinational coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
