| U.S. Marine 1st Lt. Nick Ramseur talks to local citizens of a village in the Khowst Province of Afghanistan during a security operation on Jan. 31, 2005. The operation also consisted of a supply distribution to villages lacking in medical equipment and food, and a Mosque assessment for the potential restoration of important religious buildings that are deteriorating. Ramseur is assigned as a platoon commander with Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment.
