| U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Jay W. Hood, commander, Joint Task Force Guantanamo, briefs reporters during Pentagon press conference on May 26, 2005, about his investigation into allegations that U.S. personnel at the detention facility had mishandled or desecrated the Koran. Hood and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs Lawrence Di Rita stressed that Hood's enquiry into the allegations is still in progress.
