The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

 

            Staff Sgt. Robert J. Miller, 24, of Oviedo, Fla., died Jan. 25 in Barikowt, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when he encountered small arms fire while conducting combat operations. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Bragg, N.C.
