Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has nominated Army Maj. Gen. Keith M. Huber for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as deputy commander, U.S. Joint Forces Command, Norfolk, Va.  Huber is currently serving as the commanding general, U.S. Army South, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
